Executive Product Summary for Flexible Foam Insulation Equipment

Understanding the Flexible Foam Insulation Equipment line
  • Flexible Foam insulation machines are used to manufacture a variety of products
  • A Flexible Foam machine is made from three or four Armorbelt® conveyors depending on the desired product
  • A three belt system uses a bottom belt and two movable side belts
  • The four belt system adds a top belt to flatten the top of the bun
  • All the belts move with the product
  • These steel belts can be heated, if desired
  • The belts are protected from the chemicals by disposable plastic sheets
  • A synchronized run-out conveyor delivers the continuous bun to the cutting device
  • The Flexible Foam line can be any reasonable width, with 8 or 12 feet being common
  • The system can include an adjustable width feature to run different products on the same line
  • Flexible foam is usually made on a sloping conveyor system
  • The slope and speed are adjustable to suit the chemical characteristics
Advantages
  • Corrosion resistant metal belt is easy to clean
  • Gap free belts readily contain the reacting liquid
  • Steel belts accept heat to aid chemical reaction
  • Adjustable width, slope, and speed allow the system to be optimized for a variety of products
  • Exact synchronizing of multiple conveyors leads to stress free foam buns
  • Custom designed to produce the desired products
Product Applications
  • Flexible Foam is used in thousands of applications such as: seat cushions, pillows, mattress tops, etc.
