Transdisc® Multidirectional Wheels Used For Air Cargo & Aircraft Freight
Transdisc At A Glance
Transdisc® is a versatile multidirectional conveyor wheel that can be used in a multitude of applications. Simple floor or platform mounting, combined with a low profile, light weight, low friction and heavy duty rating make Transdisc® an ideal device for rotation, transfer, multi direction conveying, alignment and accurate positioning of very heavy loads, such as air cargo, baggage containers, air freight, igloo loads, pallets, machinery and many other flat bottomed or pallet mounted items.
Plastic And Stainless Steel Construction For Use Outdoors
Transdisc® all stainless steel axles and high strength plastic construction resists water, dust, heat and cold.
Easy to Install
Each Transdisc® has a 200 lb. capacity, which allows wide spacing with ample walking area. And the simple mounting arrangement, free of cross shafts and chains, permits easy walking on the floor to push the load.
The Transdisc® base has eight mounting holes in a circular pattern that permits index mounting in any 45 degree increment. The units can be bolted directly to the floor, platform surface or to structural members. An instant-mount Kit of eight discs of double-faced adhesive tape is also available for mounting Transdiscs quickly and inexpensively in any desired patter on any concrete, steel or wood floor or platform. The kit eliminates the need for tools and labor to drill and bolt, and no engineering layouts are required. Yet instant-mounted Transdiscs can easily be pried loose with a pinch bar for rearrangement or relocation.
Powered Transdisc system utilizes limit switches to automatically sequence a flat bottomed 2000 lb. load through a series of x and y paths, a diagonal path and a 90° rotation. Two gear motors provide the drive for the entire system. Click link for Transdisk video
