Quick Find: Additional Information On The Dispensing Machines Head, Pump Unit, And Control ConsoleDispensing HeadThe mixing / dispensing head can be mounted on a boom, which can be secured to the unit frame or placed elsewhere. For continuous board production the head can be placed above the moving substrate or actively traversed across the production width. The laydown options include pour or spray using a variety of nozzles contingent upon the desired results. There is a selection of shear and turbulent style mixer blades available. The blades are driven hydraulically and can reach a maximum speed of 7000 rpm while maintaining close speed regulation regardless of the load. The heads are constructed out of corrosion resistant material. In addition, the mixing chamber, primary valve chambers, block and connecting lines are flushed to protect against clogging or etching by residual chemicals. Adjustable pressure balancing gives optimum pour or spray during operation. Pump Unit Corrosion resistant pumps and hoses are used to guard against aggressive chemicals. The precision of the pump drives maintains speed and ratio within 1% of the set point. In addition, a single master control simultaneously changes the speed of all pumps while maintaining the set ratio. A flow-meter feedback is provided for the blowing agent and other chemicals to accommodate the high slip common with these components. Using flush mounted sensors helps eliminate dead spots in the lines and pumps to protect against clogging by the resin. Control Console The control console is laid out in a user friendly design that incorporates all the functionality needed to operate the dispensing unit simply and efficiently. It includes the ability to regulate and display temperature, pressure and flow of resin, catalyst, additives and blowing agents, shot times and mixer speed. In addition it includes switches in the pressure display meters to help protect the system from dangerous overpressures or annoying under-pressures with the use of alarms or system shutdowns. An ammeter is furnished to indicate the instantaneous load on the resin pump if high viscosity fluid is being pumped. Suggestions to improve our website: Survey |
